Welcome to “The Red Carpet”
 The Heritage Dance Foundation, Inc., a non profit foundation, is pleased to present an evening of entertainment. We wish to thank all the participating dancers, singers, actors and performing studios for the generous gift of their time and artistic talents. Tonight will mark the first televised production of the new Paramount Theatre.

                The idea of creating a community based awards variety show was based upon the success of “Remember the Paramount” that the Heritage Dance Foundation produced in August 18, 2007 to benefit the Paramount Theatre Foundation’s efforts to re-build the theatre. “Remember the Paramount” and “Broad way at Paramount” in June of 2008 marked the first time that all the local community performing arts and dance studios participated in one unified project. Thanks to their efforts and the generous contributions of the citizens and City of Goldsboro, we were all able to raise enough funds to re-build and support the new Paramount Theatre.

                Now that our beloved Paramount Theatre has been restored, the Heritage Dance Foundation plans on producing a variety of shows at the new theatre in order to showcase the rich talent that we have in Wayne County. With the net profits from these events, the Heritage Dance Foundation has established an educational scholarship fund for the most deserving and talented young performers to assist their artistic development. Moreover, there will also be artistic grant money to support the various community performing arts organizations as well.
